We didn’t set out to be homesteaders or off gridders. We just fell in love with a farm - an Amish farm- and figured we could live without the normal luxuries, you know; electric, heat without a fire and water pressure. Just for a little while, until we updated the house and property.
So my homesteading skills came with a lot of trial and error. I can teach you what not to do, what really hurts when you do it wrong and what I will never try again. But I cover everything I have learned so far in my blogs. From raising chickens to canning, greenhouse growing and trimming hooves, to designing a real life, hardworking, farmhouse kitchen. (We have a cow living in it, AGAIN).
As for the rest, we can learn together as we go along. Come join us at CamoCountryHomesteading.com
sit, read (I don’t mind if you laugh), relax for a spell and enjoy Camo Country.
